S-Bahn Hamburg
PSI Transcom developed a control center system for the light rail operator S-Bahn Hamburg GmbH which assists dispatchers in optimally controlling operations and provides immediate information to passengers on the platforms. The S-Bahn Hamburg GmbH network comprises a total route length of more than 145 kilometers and 68 stations in the greater Hamburg area.
The control center system supports the operations and dispatching personnel of S-Bahn Hamburg GmbH with features such as:
- Train tracking over the entire network and display of stations with timetable status and color monitors
- Tracking and display of all vehicle positions in the network and parking facilities
- User-friendly support with a graphical and intuitive dialog guidance system in the event of disruptions or deviations to normal operations, for example when setting up interrupted service for selectable periods of time
