Automated Vehicle Management
Performance-minded transport operators place high demands on the quality of their transport network.
Our computer-aided PSItraffic/ITCS system supports the efficient deployment of vehicles. Planning processes are simplified and operations are monitored enabling quick response to disruptions. Passengers are informed immediately of any changes affecting the timetable. This improves the efficiency, availability and, ultimately, the appeal of local public transport systems including rail.
The basic features of PSItraffic/ITCS are:
- Voice and data communication for scheduling transport operations
- Identification of key operational states, such as log-on, log-off and changes to lines and routes
- Identification of arrivals at selected locations and event points
- Identification of any deviations from target values
- Shift and organization-based availability of drivers corresponding to the routes
- Simulation of planned schedules
- Features for monitoring scheduled operational states, such as timetable status, shifts, deployment of vehicles
- Features for scheduling vehicles and shifts to respond to disruptions
- Control and management of a dynamic passenger information system
- ITCS workstations and control center of the computer-aided operations control and acceleration system based on different radio infrastructures
These basic features can be supplemented with additional application or project-specific features.
