Intermodal Connection

Transport operators are increasingly working in groups. For this reason, passengers expect a seamless chain of transport services – even beyond the boundaries of individual transport operators.

PSItraffic contains interfaces for global passenger information and intermodal connection based on the VDV 453 standard. A visualisation service, which is defined in this standard and can display the trains and vehicles in the control centers of other operators, is also available.

The global passenger information makes it possible to integrate route information of other operators in the operator’s own passenger information system. Information concerning the operator’s own routes is also made available to other operators for their display systems.
