In a depot, several areas of work are closely interlinked and smooth depot operations must be ensured at all times. The PSI Transcom depot management system automates operations and procedures, streamlines processes and optimizes personnel and vehicle deployment.

The system supports transport operators, for example, by automatically assigning vehicles to tours and optimizing the deployment of scheduled vehicles. If vehicles experience technical difficulties, the scheduling is revised at short notice in order to provide vehicles for all tours. Vehicles with technical defects are not scheduled again until they are reported as ready for operation. The system automatically sets routes and traces vehicles along their routes in accordance with the relevant scheduling.

The PSI Transcom deport management system also supports workshop operations. It reminds operators, for example, of cyclic activities such as regularly scheduled inspections, cleaning of interiors, etc. and it proposes suitable dates for these operations. The proposed dates can be modified in order to minimize bottlenecks in capacity. Information on vehicle defects and completed repair work is also stored in the system. This information can then be used for subsequent analysis.
