The depot management system for bus depots includes a special refueling optimization feature which, alongside the basic features, contributes to more effective operations. This feature ensures that buses are not refueled before embarking on the next tour unless it is truly necessary.

When a bus arrives, for example, the remaining content in its fuel tank is compared to the content required for the next tour and the fueling station is displayed as the next stop at the depot, if necessary. Data transmissions are also taken into consideration. The system monitors these stopovers until the vehicle has arrived at its final parking position.

The effectiveness of tram depots can be increased by automatically setting the routes, among other things. The workload of operators and drivers is reduced with the link to the switch control system.

Thanks to its modular design, features for tram and bus operations can be combined in the PSI Transcom system. This means that it is possible to control both combined and geographically separate depots.
