Fault Management

The fault management feature in the PSI Transcom depot management system also includes an intelligent user guidance system for specifying faults. This user guidance system results in standardized error and fault messages offering tremendous advantages for analyses, for example for preventive maintenance.

This feature is based on a fault tree with a trunk (= vehicle type) and thicker branches (= vehicle components) as well as twigs (= the defective part). Depending on the parts in question, only certain fault descriptions can be selected.
