PSI Presents New Control Developments at Energy 2011

New functions support decentralised input of renewable energies

Berlin, 17 March 2011 – The PSI AG will be presenting new developments from the fields of network control and operations control technology on the basis of international pilot projects at the leading trade fair Energy (Hall 13, Stand C30 at the Hannover Trade Fair from 4 to 8 April 2011).

The focus will be on new functions in the PSIcontrol control system for the support of network operations with the greatly increasing decentralised input of renewable energies, which optimally support the requirements of smart grids. In addition, PSI presents the international use of PSI control systems at Thailand’s Provincial Electricity Authority and France’s Électricité Réseau Distribution France for the City of Paris.

Furthermore, functions for crisis management and the multi-criteria optimisation functions for staff deployment integrated into the workforce management system PSIcommand will be presented.

PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, heat, water), cross-company production management (metals, automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 1,400 persons in the group.
