With this system, each of the companies can monitor and control its vehicles
independently of time and location, without seeing or being influenced by the data from the other companies. The infrastructure, which is used by all the companies, provides a free access to the control centers (AVM), including planning systems, on-board computer software, invoicing systems, control center working place, desired destination center (transport needs) and statistical analysis.
The companies integrated in the network system automatically provide dynamic route information to the Bavaria-wide DEFAS information system, which also serves to guarantee the connections to the DB subsidiary Munich City Rail.
With this system, the PSI Transcom GmbH is the most successful provider in Germany of client-capable control systems which meet the new requirements of the liberalized transportation market. This includes both the use of various on-board computers in an AVM system as well as the productive use of various planning systems.
