In the last weeks PSI logistics GmbH, a subsidiary of the Berlin PSI AG, won three strategically important international contracts. Other companies in the USA, Chile and Russia will also be employing logistics software and services from PSI. Along with the excellent functionality of the software, PSI’s core competence for using and servicing complex logistics systems worldwide were decisive for awarding the contract. Blum (North Carolina), DIPAC S.A. (Santiago de Chile) and Pyateorochka (St. Petersburg) expand PSI’s international customer base.
PSI delivered a warehouse administration system for the Blum logistics center in the USA last year. The metal fittings manufacturer decided for PSI again and awarded the contract for maintaining the warehouse administration system. The established PSI logistics maintenance concept was decisive for awarding the contract. When Blum works in the USA a trained maintenance team in Germany is available for remote maintenance and support.
An important step in conquering the South American market was made with the contract of the Chilean DIPAC. The current warehouse in Santiago de Chile is being modernized by a new warehouse administration system. The implementation time of only four weeks is possible, because it is a matter of a purely standard application. This is something absolutely new for Chile. DIPAC is a sales company for food and candy.
PSI is renewing a distribution center for food for the Pyateorochka company in St. Petersburg. The order consists of the areas of warehouse administration, transportation and packaging. Due to the great need for the Russian economy to make up for lost time in the field of logistics, the project is an important step in a strategically important future market.
