Privacy Policy

Welcome to our website of PSI Transcom GmbH, Dircksenstraße 42-44, 10178 Berlin, Germany. Thank you for visiting us. PSI Transcom GmbH takes the protection of personal data very seriously. Therefore, we would like to inform you below which data of your visit will be used for which purposes.

1. What is personal data?

Personal data are individual details about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person (person concerned), for example your real name, your age, your marital status, your address, your e-mail address, your telephone number, your bank account or your date of birth.

2. Principle of anonymous processing

Unless otherwise stated in the following sections, no personal data is collected, processed or used when using our websites.

While maintaining your anonymity, information is transmitted when you visit our website, for example

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • Time of the server request

PSI  Transcom GmbH cannot assign this data to any particular person. This data will not be merged with other data sources; moreover, after a statistical evaluation, the data will be deleted and used exclusively to improve the attractiveness, content and functionalities of our websites.

3. Cookies

To continuously optimise our website, we use so-called cookies. Cookies are files that the websites you visit transfer to your computer for identification and which later serve to facilitate navigation. This means that you do not have to enter all the required data every time you use the website. It also allows us to tailor our websites exactly to your needs. If you wish to prevent the use of cookies, you can set your browser to refuse cookies. Please refer to your browser manufacturer’s instructions to find out how this works in detail.

3.1 Google AdWords and Conversion Tracking

To draw attention to our services, we place Google AdWords ads and use Google Conversion Tracking. These ads appear after searches on web pages in the Google ads network and can be controlled through the ad settings.

When you click on an ad, Google sets a cookie on your computer. This is valid for about 30 days. Further information about the cookie technology used can also be found in Google’s notes on website statistics and in the data protection regulations.

With the help of this technology, Google and we as customers receive information that a user has clicked on an ad and has been redirected to our websites. The information obtained in this way is used exclusively for statistical evaluation for ad optimisation. We do not receive any information that personally identifies visitors. The statistics provided to us by Google include the total number of users who have clicked on one of our ads and, if applicable, whether they were forwarded to a page of our website with a conversion tag.

If you do not want this, you can prevent the storage of the cookies required for these functions, e.g. by changing your browser settings. In this case, your visit is not included in the user statistics.

3.2 Google AdWords and remarketing

We also use the remarketing function in Google AdWords. This technology displays interest-based advertising messages to users who have already visited our websites and are interested in our services when they use the Google search function or visit websites that belong to the Google Display Network. These customized ads appear in the search ads on the Google website or in the ads on Display network websites when you visit them. This is made possible by the use of cookies. Cookies are text information files that your web browser stores on your computer when you open one of our websites. For more information on the use of cookies in ads on Google and the Partner network, please see the Privacy Policy & Terms of Use under Advertising.

If you do not want to receive interest-based advertising, you can disable Google’s use of cookies for these purposes by changing your settings in the ads preferences. The use of third-party cookies can be turned off from the Opt-out page of the Network Advertising Initiative.

3.3 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses what are known as “cookies” – text files which are stored on your computer and enable us to analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google uses this information to analyse your use of the website as instructed by its operator to compile reports on website activities and to render further services relating to website use and internet use to the website’s operator.

The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by making the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

You can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. This sets an opt-out cookie to prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website: Disable Google Analytics

You can find further information on terms of use and data protection at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb .html or https://policies.google.com/?hl=en . Please note that the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” has been added to Google Analytics on this website to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and the DoubleClick cookie for statistical purposes. If you do not want this to happen, you can disable it using the Ads Preferences Manager (https://adssettings.google.com/anonymous?hl=en).

You can exclude this possibility of association with your personal user account by logging out of your user account beforehand.
