PSI Presents Comprehensive Know-how for Rail Transportation at the InnoTrans 2012

Berlin, 21 August 2012 – PSI subsidiary PSI Transcom GmbH, along with other PSI business units, is presenting comprehensive high-end control technology solutions at the InnoTrans in Berlin from 18-21 September 2012 (Hall 2.1, Stand 226). The solutions cover the entire value-added chain of rail transportation companies from operations to energy supply, logistics processes to maintenance of vehicles.

The PSItraffic control technlogy solution, internationally proven for years, controls and optimises the deployment of personnel and vehicles and monitors the entire infrastructure. Thanks to intelligent optimisation, the depot management system guarantees high efficiency in the disposition of drivers and vehicles.

The PSIcontrol network management system controls and monitors catenary wire networks. An integrated energy management system optimises the energy generation and transmission from power plants to the feeding of the traction current network.

Inspection cycles are monitored and the maintenance of machines, complex systems and other technical equipment are coordinated with PSImaintenance.

For the first time, the Malaysian PSI subsidiary PSI Incontrol will be present at the stand. Together with PSI Transcom, PSI Incontrol delivered a complete communication system for the monorail in Kuala Lumpur.

Under the motto of “PSI in Motion”, PSI experts will present the entire control technology spectrum for railway operations and be available for discussions and exchanges of experience in a special forum on 20 September 2012.
