PSI and Moveo Present Comprehensive Solutions for E-Mobility and Personnel Dispatching at IT-Trans in Karlsruhe

Berlin, April 13, 2022 – The focus of the joint trade fair appearance of PSI Transcom GmbH and Moveo Software GmbH from May 10 to 12 2022 at the IT-Trans in Karlsruhe (Hall 1, Booth C10), is on increasing the availability of personnel and vehicles for public transport companies. The PSIebus depot and charge management system and the Profahr personnel dispatching system enable optimal dispatching of vehicles of different drive types and driving personnel. Also represented are the project partners of the STAPL research project for the standardization of vehicle data.

PSIebus automatically takes into account the current charging status and the forecast remaining range of the e-buses for flexible deployment planning and provides support with matching dispatching suggestions. Integrated workshop management allows the required work to be mapped consistently in the system and planned precisely. The use of the PSI optimization software Qualicision enables the balancing of conflicting goals and the calculation of balanced results. Here, the integrated load and charge management system PSIsmartcharging takes over the network monitoring and control.

Moveo Software shows modern optimization options in personnel scheduling Profahr (german only). With the help of the extension modules vacation management and desired duty scheduling, employees' wishes can be planned automatically with the highest possible degree of fulfillment. In addition, a duty and vacation exchange enables the independent change of already assigned duties or vacation days.

As part of the STAPL research project, PSI Transcom is developing a standardized reference architecture for vehicle data platforms together with the project partners. The project addresses in particular the legal framework for the acquisition and utilization of data, as well as the standardization of vehicle data interfaces.

The PSI Group develops its own software products for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy grids, energy trading, public transport) and industry (metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). The industry-specific products, which are built from standard components, are sold both directly and via the multi-cloud PSI App Store and can also be customized by customers and partners themselves. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs about 2,200 people worldwide.
